EPL: He’s very intelligent – Ian Wright hails Arsenal star after win over Man Utd

Arsenal legend, Ian Wright has hailed Bukayo Saka as a very ‘intelligent player’ after Sunday’s Premier League 1-0 win against Manchester United.

Recall that Leandro Trossard scored the only goal of the game as the Gunners defeated the Red Devils at Old Trafford.

Speaking after the match, Wright also insisted that Saka is ‘overlooked’ in his defensive work for Mikel Arteta’s side. 

“You look at Saka’s numbers, not just his goals and assists but his defensive work, which is always overlooked,” Wright told Premier League Productions.

“He’s a very intelligent player when it comes to helping the team.

“He’s got such a level that it’s normalising very, very consistent play.”
