A few months back, a woman in Australia got the shock of her life when she found two snakes in her toilet on two consecutive days. Luckily, Nicole was not attacked by the reptiles, which were eventually captured by a rescue team.

Snake sightings inside bathrooms are not unusual in Australia and many parts of southeast Asia. While many are lucky enough to escape unharmed, some have to trust their survival instincts and face reptiles head-on.

Such was the case with a mother from Thailand who recently fought off a huge snake that bit her thigh while hiding inside the toilet.

The woman named Ana noticed the snake inside her bathroom and immediately grabbed it with both her hands. At that moment, the snake tightened its grip around Ana's hands but she did not let go,

She called out to her children for help and then used a hammer and a cutter to attack the snake. In the process, she ended up cutting herself.
